- electrochemical methods for the synthesis and analysis of advanced materials;
- chemical methods for obtaining spatially ordered nanomaterials (porous films of anodic oxides of valve metals, colloidal crystals);
- small angle X-ray and neutron scattering for quantitative characterization of porous materials;
- photonic crystals and scalable techniques of their preparation;
- templated synthesis of anisotropic nanostructures;
- nano-/microelectronics, nano-/micro electromechanical systems.
